Esplanade at St. Marys is a master planned community from developer and homebuilder Taylor Morrison. The property is a located north of Jacksonville, Florida in Georgia.
Golf architect Chris Wilczynski of C.W. Golf Architecture is building the 18-hole championship golf course. Wilczynski has designed 5 golf courses with Taylor Morrison previously, including the Esplanade Golf and Country Club at Lakewood Ranch, Florida. Ryangolf is leading golf construction onsite.
Plans for the golf course include 5 sets of tees from 3,805 to 7,069 yards. Greens will be planted in TifEagle Bermudagrass greens sized from 5,100 to 8,300 square feet. The design accommodates adjacent wetlands and features grass-faced bunkering strategically placed along fairways and greens.
