Lazy J Sporting Club: Colton Craig + Tom Coyne

Lazy J is a new 18 hole destination golf course being planned by Colton Craig and Tom Coyne for a 2026 opening. Lazy J is in Ideal, South Dakota. Membership information for Lazy J may be obtained from Karissa Jorgensen(phone: +1 (605) 840-1256)

The 20,000 property will offer pheasant hunting and golf. The Jorgenson family settled in South Dakota in 1909 setting up a family farm. Ideal, South Dakota is a 168 mile drive north of Sand Hills Golf Club in Mullen, Nebraska.

Golf architects Colton Craig/Tom Coyne are partnering with Landscapes Unlimited to lead the golf construction effort. Golf course shaping will start in October 2024. Plans for the golf are for a 7,216 yard course from the back tees.
