Rivergrass - Community Golf in Florida

The proposed Rivergrass is a new development project east of Naples, Florida and planning includes an 18 hole golf course. The County Commission approved the project proposed by Collier Enterprises on June 27, 2023.

The project led by Collier Enterprises consists of two new towns named Rivergrass and Bellmar in Big Cypress. A centrally situated town will link Rivergrass and Bellmar. This added town will span approximately 544 acres. Residentially, the Big Cypress area is projected to add 4,432 single-family residences along with multi-family homes. A hallmark of this development is its commitment to sustainability/environmental preservation. The plan earmarks more than 716 acres, over 46% of the town's total land, to be preserved as open space. Exceeding county requirements/mandate an additional 12,000 acres are set aside for farming and wildlife habitat.

The golf course is in early planning stages. Golf architect and design features are not publicly announced as of spring 2024.
