New Public Golf Course - Bella Ridge - Colorado

Golf architect Art Schaupeter started planning Bella Ridge Golf Club in 2017. Formal plans were published using the topography maps and time walking the site by 2022.

Golf construction for Bella Ridge started May 2024. Grow in process was successfully completed with preview play opening October 2025. Clubhouse and course opening is planned for 2026.

Schaupeter's routing includes whiskey loop options designed for players who may only have time for a few holes. Art Schaupeter designed TPC Colorado and Highland Meadows Golf Course in Colorado.

The Podtburg family has operated a dairy farm on the property in Johnstown for 45 years.
